Anna Carolina was born in Brazil and lived in that country until the day she returned to God. She is my first daughter and she introduced me to a mother's love.
When she was only 13 years old, she faced cancer for the first time. She had leukemia and underwent long treatment for 2 years until she was cured.
After being cured of leukemia, she made one of the most important decisions of her life. She decided to become a doctor and save lives. When she turned 18, she left her home and her hometown to study medicine.
During the 6 years she was studying medicine, Anna Carolina lost her maternal grandparents, her paternal sister, her brother, and her stepfather. She also discovered that she had Li-Fraumeni Syndrome, the same disease that caused the death of her brothers. However, that did not make her give up or postpone her dream of becoming a doctor. In 2020, she finally graduated and began working as a doctor.
After a few months, she was diagnosed with a new cancer: glioblastoma, the same cancer that had caused her brother's death. In 2022, after fighting hard for her life, my beloved daughter returned to God and is saving lives in heaven.
